The extruded performance testing for rubber extruder

Providing extruded property of rubber extruder and item service of rubber mass performance mainly for customers.
 
Currently the extrusion lab has 120 cold-feed extruding technique researching and testing platform and 90 cold-feed exhausted extruded technology researching and testing platform.
 
120 cold-feed extruded technique researching and testing platformapplies to various pressure sensors, temperature sensors, flow meter, rotary encoder, voltage, current, and electricity measurement. The testing platform can detect serial actual data of batch pressure, temperature, output capacity, extruded temperature, energy consumption, extruded stability(calculating and illustrating CP real value) and so forth. It can also create real time graphs based on the above mentioned data.
 
Besides, there are the other main testing instruments and apparatus in the lab such as Mooney viscosity, curing instrument, tensile machine, needle type thermometer, densimeter, sclerometerm, analytical balance, etc.
 
In addition, there are 9 different types of 120 screws and 5 distinct styles of 90 screws. 
Those 120 screws have different screw configurations of feed zone, plasticizing zone, and extruded zone that can respectively adjust to all kinds of extruded Mooney viscosity. For that we will chose the available viscosity of high, medium,or low for diverse configurations of screws. We will also measure and select pointed screws for customers according to their emphasized requirements for extruded products (e.g. output or quality). 
 

The testing items of the performance of rubber extruder in the laboratory are as follows:
The testing items of performance of rubber extruder:
1) Mass flow and stability of extruded products
2) Extruded temperature of extruding outputs
3) Energy consumption of extruding outputs
4) Extruded pressure
 
The testing items of quality of extruded output:
1) Dimensional accuracy of extruded products
2) Position accuracy of shape of extruded products
3) Appearance of extruded products
4)The change in level of viscosity of extruded mix
5) The variety level of dispersibility of extruded mix with compounding additive
6) The varying degree of cured scorch time of extruded mixture
7) The changeable degree of density of extruded mixture
8)The variance of stretchability of extruded compound(including sulfur compound)
 
Adopting the measurements of selected machine parameters and screw for the customer’s prepared rubber matrix
1) Testing for customer owned rubber matrix through extrusion lab.
2) Extrusion laboratory will select cold-feed extruders and suitable screws or multiple choices for screws to conduct mix extruding under customer’s demands combined with characteristic results of customer owned mixture.
3) Setting extruded processing parameter of extruder for an exam to follow favorable items in the extruded performance index system of rubber extruders and to collect the experimental results of extruding compound.
4) Evaluating laboratory results of extruding compound against customers’ expectations and recommending optimum selection on screw configurations for them.
5) Optimizing screws gradually, completing types, and classifying types to satisfy customers’ needs.
 
3.Buyer shall provide rubber mix tester with 500 to 800 kilograms(the examining items will be different whether it contains sulfur batch for the flow capacity of 120 extruder in half an hour.)
